  • This one was still able to fly around despite its torn wings. It was beautiful with its transparent wings.
  • This is a moth (You can tell by its antennae, which have no point on the end) is crazy beautiful with its feather-like antennae, cloth-like giant wings and bugged-out bug eyes!
  • I can't tell what this butterfly's defense is. I can see both an owl eye (right side) and a snake face (left side). I guess if I were an animal in the jungle, I wouldn't bother this one!
  • That curled-up "thing" is the butterfly's proboscis that is used to drink nectar.

  • This one's proboscis looks more like a tongue sticking out of a mouth!
  • Venice found an egg on the underside of a leaf.
  • There were so many butterflies and they sure seemed to like to land on the kids!

  • Casey helped this one get around (its wings were torn and missing in several places).
